Gurnoor Bindra
‘’Gurnoor Bindra, General Manager Sheraton Mall of the Emirates started her career in finance across service and manufacturing industries before she joined the corporate office of Starwood Hotels and Resorts in India in 2010. This accidental career transformation allowed her to prosper into the leader she is today. She was part of numerous hotel openings and conversions across South Asia which included select, premium, and luxury brands. Gurnoor also led business improvement and efficiency projects across South East Asia. She moved to the Middle East in 2015. A Six Sigma Black Belt holder she finished her education with a Master’s in Business Education and continues to pursue her passion for learning with the latest being her professional course certification from Cornell in 2017. Traveling, exploring cultures, food, and fashion are a few of her passions. Gurnoor is one of the key chairs for the UAE Marriott Business Council, and a part of the Serve 360 pillar which focuses on CSR & ESG initiatives. Recently, Gurnoor has been enlisted as Hospitality's Most Popular General Manager in UAE in 2023.’’
