Vivek Pawar
Vivek Pawar is a seasoned industry professional with over 9 years of experience in business management across various sectors, including FMCG, Electronics, E-commerce, F&B, and Freight forwarding. Currently, he holds a pivotal role at Starbucks, where he oversees supply chain design for 1200+ stores. His responsibilities include capacity management, last-mile distribution development, and cold chain management through an omni-channel network. Vivek is passionate about process improvement across the supply chain, covering areas such as procurement, planning, cost and margin management, logistics, supply chain digitalization, new product commercialization, resiliency, and sustainability. Notably, he spearheaded network optimization and service enhancements across the MENA region, spanning 11 countries. Vivek is also accountable for supply chain visibility, logistics sourcing, operational processes, and technology enhancements, contributing to Starbucks’ next-generation supply chain.
Prior to his current role, Vivek served as the Senior Supply Chain Manager at Alghanim Industries in Kuwait. There, he focused on driving efficiency and cost-cutting measures by developing and executing effective supply chain strategies. His achievements included revenue growth, achieving P&L targets, and leading digitization efforts. Vivek successfully expanded Costa Coffee’s supply chain across the GCC, with end-to-end setups in KSA, UAE, Qatar, and Oman following Kuwait.
During his career, Vivek completed several training programs and certifications, including Six Sigma Green Belt, the MDP Program by Deloitte, and Gallup Inc.'s Leading High-Performance Teams. His previous experience at Supermax Pvt. Ltd. as a Management Associate allowed him to drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) strategy globally, enhancing plant productivity across India, Bangladesh, and Mexico. Notably, he led projects in multicultural environments, including the successful launch of a product across the Indian market as part of the Chairman’s Dream project.
Vivek holds a Micromaster degree in Supply Chain Management from M.I.T., USA, where he completed comprehensive coursework equivalent to on-campus studies over 1.5 years.
